So, it was like 100 degrees down in Castle Rock this last weekend. The party we went to was a combined (60th)birthday/retirement party for Papa Speck and two family friends (Bill Todd and Larry Sigler).The party went over well, but the heat drove all the elderly (squirm) into the shade of the back yard cherry tree and all the kids into the sprinkler, and the resulting mud puddles. Then into the arms of formerly dry grandparents (haha).
